Heritage award
In 2008 the Nationwide Building Society and the Heritage Lottery Fund launched the Nationwide Community and Heritage Awards, which recognise people or groups for their community and/or voluntary work that improves their community's lives.
The Trust entered one of Callander's outstanding champions, Ken Dunn. He received two awards for his dedication to preserving Callander's heritage of buildings, history, characters and environment. His contribution to publications, archives, Callander & District Heritage Society and to public discussion and consultation is incomparable. All this was recognised in his being named a regional winner and a national finalist.
